1. MEMBERSHIP<\/strong> 2. MEMBERSHIP IDENTIFICATION AND ACCESS TO THE FACILITIES, DATA PROCESSING AND CHANGES TO CONTACT DETAILS<\/strong><\/p>\n Members are provided with a personal door-opening link to verify membership and access the GYM. Annual members check in to the gym and open the door using their personal link. If the door-opening link falls into the wrong hands, staff must be informed without delay by email or in person. <\/span>The member who has checked in is responsible for the behaviour of people entering at the same time and is obliged to compensate for any damage they cause.<\/p>\n The door-opening link is always personal and must not be used to open the door for others; members must not admit any unauthorised persons to the facilities. If a customer triggers an alarm by using the GYM outside opening hours, the resulting costs will be charged to the customer who caused the alarm.<\/p>\n The customer must also notify Reenis immediately of any changes to their contact details. Reenis stores members’ details in its own information systems and processes the data in accordance with the Personal Data Act.<\/span><\/p>\n Billing begins in the starting month if the agreement is signed before the 15th of that month. Otherwise, billing begins on the 1st of the following month.<\/p>\n 3. SUSPENDING MEMBERSHIP<\/strong> A customer may suspend their membership for at least one (1) month on the basis of a medical certificate. If a customer temporarily moves away from Oulu, they may suspend their membership for at least three (3) months and must present staff with proof of the move. Periods are not credited retrospectively.<\/p>\n Membership may be rented to another person. The pass then transfers to that person’s use for a fixed period. The member renting out the membership and the renter agree on the price and period between themselves. Reenis reception must be informed of the rental, and the correct details will be updated on the pass.<\/p>\n 4. TERMINATING THE AGREEMENT<\/strong> If membership has been suspended due to unpaid membership fees, the member must contact Reenis by email at info(at)reenis.fi to arrange payment of outstanding invoices and reinstatement of membership. Reenis has the right to refer unpaid invoices for debt collection.<\/p>\n If the customer otherwise wishes to terminate the agreement, they must reimburse the service provider for the benefit received. This benefit is calculated as the difference between the monthly pass price and the annual agreement’s monthly fee for the period used.<\/p>\n If the customer can provide a medical certificate in advance showing that they cannot use the service, or if they move away, they have the right to terminate the agreement without special requirements to reimburse the benefit used. Evidence of the move must also be provided.<\/p>\n For example, a customer has been a member for 7 months and terminates the agreement. The notice period is 1 month, so the customer has used the annual membership benefit for 8 months. The annual member’s monthly fee is, for example, 56\u20ac. A normal monthly pass is 75\u20ac. The benefit received from annual membership is 8*75\u20ac \u2013 8*56\u20ac = 152\u20ac. The customer must pay the service provider the benefit received, i.e. 152\u20ac.<\/p>\n If the customer had paid the entire annual membership in one payment, termination would result in no charges or refunds. Paid periods are not credited if termination occurs during a billing period.<\/p>\n Reenis is not obliged to refund membership payments in money if we have to close the hall temporarily for maintenance or similar reasons. Instead, membership validity will be extended by the length of the closure.<\/p>\n Alcohol, narcotics and doping substances must not be brought into Reenis. Their use and\/or sale is prohibited and will result in immediate termination of membership without a refund for any unused membership time or membership fee.<\/p>\n 5. OTHER TERMS<\/strong> Use of Reenis facilities is at your own risk. Reenis is not liable for personal injury or material damage suffered by the member or their property. Membership does not include insurance; customers must obtain adequate insurance themselves.<\/p>\n The member agrees to follow Reenis’s general rules, instructions for use, and staff instructions and directions.<\/p>\n Reenis has the right to change the hall’s opening hours and prices during the agreement period.<\/p>\n Annual membership billed monthly costs the price stated in the price list plus a 4 \u20ac billing surcharge per invoice.<\/p>\n 5. MEMBER BENEFITS<\/strong><\/p>\n An annual member has the right to bring one friend free of charge once a month. Coffee\/tea costs 1\u20ac for annual members.<\/p>\n These terms were updated on 27.10.2022. The new terms take effect when a previously made agreement continues into the next 12-month period.<\/p>\n 6. DUTY TO INFORM<\/strong><\/p>\n The service provider is obliged to inform customers of rule changes at least by providing the information in the weight-training gym instructions. The current rules can be read in this notice or at Reenis reception.<\/p>\n 7. OTHER TERMS<\/strong> Use of Reenis facilities is at your own risk. \nThe customer commits to a one-year (12-month) membership with the service provider (Reeniseppo Oy). Reenis membership is always personal. Reenis members are all those who have paid the joining fee and taken out a valid membership agreement. A person under 18 uses Reenis under the responsibility of the guardian who accepted the agreement. The guardian must be present on the first visit when the access card is collected. The guardian must provide their billing details for membership invoicing. Annual membership requires completing a membership agreement at Reenis reception.<\/p>\n
\nMembership may only be suspended on the grounds of military service, serious illness or pregnancy. Reliable evidence of the reason must be provided within 30 days of suspension, and the suspension must be discussed with staff.<\/p>\n
\nThe customer may terminate the agreement on the following terms. The customer’s notice period is 1 month. The service provider may terminate the agreement immediately if the customer fails to comply with its terms. In cases of misuse, Reenis has the right to end membership immediately and charge the member a 100 \u20ac breach-of-contract fee, plus any costs arising from the misuse. If membership has been terminated because of misuse, Reenis is not obliged to refund payments to the member. The customer must give notice of termination in writing (email counts as written notice). Otherwise, the service provider’s notice period is 1 month.<\/p>\n
