Gym Membership Terms of Use

1. Annual Membership

Annual membership

The customer commits to a 12-month membership agreement with the service provider (Reeniseppo Oy). Membership is always personal. All individuals who have paid the joining fee and signed a valid membership agreement are considered members.

Persons under the age of 18 may use Reenis under the responsibility of a guardian who has approved the agreement. The guardian must be present during the first visit to collect the access card and must provide their billing details for membership fees.

Those wishing to join Reenis must complete and accept a membership agreement at the Reenis reception.

2. ELECTRONIC MEMBER IDENTIFIER, DATA HANDLING, AND CONTACT INFORMATION UPDATES

 Members are issued a personal electronic access link at the reception for entering the gym. The link is accessed through a browser on a smart device. The gym’s entrance must always be opened using this electronic link.

Members must immediately inform Reenis of any changes to their contact information. Reenis stores member data in its systems and processes it in accordance with data protection laws. The electronic access link must not be shared with others.

Billing starts from the beginning of the month if the agreement is signed before the 15th of the current month. Otherwise, billing begins on the 1st day of the following month.

3. ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP PAUSING AND LEASING

Membership can be paused for the following reasons:

A reliable document supporting the pause reason must be provided within 30 days of requesting the pause, and the matter must be discussed with staff. A doctor’s note allows for a minimum pause of one (1) month. For temporary relocation outside Oulu, the pause period is a minimum of three (3) months, with proof of relocation required. Refunds are not issued retroactively.

Memberships can also be leased to another person. The membership owner and the lessee agree on the price and duration independently. Reenis must be informed at the reception, and the membership will be transferred to the new user.

4.TERMINATION OF AGREEMENT

The customer can terminate the annual membership under the following conditions:

Termination must be submitted in writing (email to info@reenis.fi is considered written notification). Otherwise, the service provider’s notice period is one (1) month.

If the membership is suspended due to unpaid fees, the customer must contact Reenis at info(at)reenis.fi to arrange payment and reactivate the membership. Unpaid invoices may be sent to collections.

If the customer terminates the agreement prematurely, they must reimburse the service provider for benefits received.

For example:

If the membership was fully paid for a year upfront, no additional fees or refunds apply for early termination.

Reenis is not obligated to refund fees if temporary closures occur due to maintenance or similar reasons.

6. MEMBER BENEFITS
Annual members may bring one guest for free once per month and enjoy coffee/tea for €1.
