Celebration Format and Participants

How do the four party options differ from one another?

Birthday Room: You’ll join other guests for the general session and enjoy refreshments in your own room. Activity Room / Nerf: A separate activity room and party room for your own group for 90 minutes. Private Reservation: Reenis’s main hall and café tables reserved for your group during your reserved time slot. Sleepover: Spend the night with your own group, with dinner served in Birthday Room 1. What age group is this party suitable for, and is a supervisor required?

Birthday parties can be held for people of all ages. A group of children celebrating a birthday must have at least one responsible adult present at all times. Children turning 10 this year and older may move about without a supervisor’s immediate presence; younger children must be accompanied by an adult. A sufficient number of supervisors is required based on the number and age of the children. Overnight camp supervisors must be at least 18 years old. The recommended age for Nerf games is 7 years old, and for supervision, approximately 7 years old.

Does the supervising adult pay, and is the birthday child included in the count?

The birthday child is counted as an active participant. During regular birthday sessions, the supervising adult does not pay an admission fee. For private bookings and sleepovers, everyone present—including supervisors—is counted toward the group size for pricing purposes. In the counter, list active participants and other attendees separately. The same person is not counted twice.

How many people can the party accommodate?

Room 1 is recommended for about 12–16 people, and Room 2 for about 8–10 people. Be sure to include supervisors in the headcount; it’s best to arrange for additional seating in advance. The activity room’s equipment packages are priced for a maximum of 15 participants. For private bookings of groups larger than 50 people and overnight stays for groups larger than 30 people, please contact us. The first price tier for private bookings and overnight stays is for 1–15 people.

Can we come without reserving a birthday party room?

You can come during regular hours just to exercise. Please let us know in advance by phone or email that your group is coming, and check our hours of operation. Café tables cannot be reserved for your own birthday party food and drinks during public hours. The fee for a visit without a party room is based on standard admission prices; check with Reenis for any group rates.

Price, Reservations, and Changes

What does the price include?

For a birthday party room, you pay the room rental fee, admission for guests, and any extras you choose. At Taitotila, the base price includes the venue and party room; activity kits and any admission to the main venue are charged separately. For private bookings and sleepovers, the price is determined based on the size of the group and any additional services. Calculate your birthday party budget. This estimate does not reserve a time slot, and the selections made in the calculator will not be carried over to your booking.

How much do the birthday party room and admission cost?

Room 1 costs €53 per hour and Room 2 costs €43 per hour. For now, the room discount is €20 on weekdays and €10 on Sundays. For groups of at least six active participants, admission is €14 per person on regular school days and €16 on weekends and during school breaks. For groups of up to five people, the corresponding prices are €16 and €19. Check the current price on the booking page. Birthday party room prices and booking terms.

What is paid online and what is paid on-site?

The reservation fee for the birthday room and the selected tableware are paid when making the online reservation. Admission fees, catering, and any additional charges marked as payable upon arrival on the form will be charged at the cash register. For other types of parties, payment details can be found on their respective booking pages. The sleepover participation fee must be paid before the sleepover begins. Complete your reservation through the shopping cart and checkout.

How do I make a reservation, and what if I can’t find a suitable time?

Select the type of party, the day and time, and any additional services. Fill in the requested information and pay for your reservation at the front desk. Check the details in your confirmation. The online calendar for private reservations closes 24 hours before the event. If you can’t find a time or your party is coming up soon, check availability at: info@reenis.fi · 08 613 9199.

Can I reschedule or cancel my reservation?

See the general booking terms and conditions for birthday parties and rescheduling options. If Reenis cancels your reservation or reschedules it, you are entitled to a refund; acceptance of the ticket product is voluntary. Please contact Reenis as soon as possible. The terms for birthday rooms, craft rooms, and private bookings include one free rescheduling or the option to convert the booking fee into ticket products if the party cannot be held or rescheduled. A new reservation for the craft room must be made within 12 months; a new reservation for a private session must be made within 12 months of the cancellation. A free rescheduling for the sleepover applies only in the event of illness. Catering, Rooms, and Guidance

Can we bring our own food and drinks, and what does the snack package include?

For birthday rooms and private sessions, you can bring your own food and drinks or order Reenis’s treat package: €8 per person, including chips, candy, cookies, soda, and tableware. Tableware only costs 13 €. For the Craft Room, you must bring all food and tableware yourself. For sleepovers, you must bring your own snacks. Meals are eaten in the designated dining area, not in the activity area.

When should the number of guests be provided?

Once you’ve ordered Reenis catering for your birthday party room, please provide the estimated number of guests no later than 24 hours before the start of your reservation by emailing info@reenis.fi. Please also let us know about any special dietary requirements and confirm that they can be accommodated in advance. The number of treats provided is based on the number of children; please also specify separately if catering is needed for other guests.

What amenities are included in the birthday party rooms?

Room 1 is on the second floor. It has a kitchenette, a refrigerator, a microwave, a coffee maker, and a kettle, as well as a sofa. Please bring your own coffee and tea. Room 2 has a table, chairs, and a large screen. Cleaning is included in the room rental fee. Both rooms are upstairs; if you need wheelchair access or other accommodations, please confirm that the space is suitable before booking.

Can we have an instructor for a birthday party?

For birthday parties and private sessions, you can inquire about a 45-minute exercise session, starting at 105 €. Availability will be confirmed separately. The recommended ratio is approximately 4–8 participants per instructor, for children ages 7 and up. Prices for larger groups, Sunday sessions, or special requests will be agreed upon separately. The coaching does not replace the need to arrange supervision for the entire visit.

Duration, Facilities, and Preparation

How long can we celebrate in the birthday party room?

The room is reserved for one hour. You can move around during the general opening hours before and after your reserved time; the recommended total visit duration is about 1.5–3 hours. For longer room reservations, check the available consecutive time slots and the total duration on the booking page. The room cannot be reserved for family sessions. Check the opening hours and any exceptions. During guided classes, some exercise areas may be reserved for those classes.

What is included in the price for the activity room / Nerf birthday party?

You’ll have exclusive use of the activity room and party room for 90 minutes; the base price is €135. A Nerf or stick package costs €53 for groups of fewer than 10 participants and €77 for groups of 10–15 participants; both packages are billed separately. You may use the main hall during public hours for an additional fee of €9 per participant. The space does not have a refrigerator, microwave, stovetop, or dishes, and catering cannot be ordered from Reenis. Users of Nerf guns and anyone moving near them must wear safety goggles. Please stay within the play areas designated by staff.

What’s included in a private reservation?

The exercise areas and café tables at Reenis’s main facility are reserved for your group. A separate birthday party room is available for an additional fee. The doors open at the start of your session, and you must leave five minutes before the end of your session. Please put the equipment back in its place when you’re finished. Check the confirmation for the duration of your reserved time slot and the available facilities. Prices and booking terms for private reservations.

What do we need to arrange and bring for the sleepover?

Arrival and departure times will be confirmed separately by email; normally, check-out is no later than 9 a.m., but summer camps, for example, may require an earlier departure. Please provide the names of all overnight guests and the contact information of the responsible adult in advance. Bring a sleeping bag, pillow, sheets, toiletries, snacks, and a water bottle, as well as a towel, eye mask, and earplugs if needed. Meals are served in Birthday Room 1. The climbing center and other non-reserved facilities are not included in the sleepover package. Sleepover prices and booking terms.

What should you write on the invitation, and what should you include?

Open the fillable birthday invitation (PDF, A5; new tab). Fill in the party details and print the invitation. You can also save the PDF to your device.

Include the type of party, the agreed start and end times, and the address Alvar Aallon katu 1, 90520 Oulu on the invitation. Ask guests to bring clothing suitable for indoor exercise, socks, and a water bottle. Gym socks are recommended but not required; they are available for the birthday group for 3 € per pair. Long hair must be tied back, and jewelry and watches must be removed during physical activity. Please attend only if you are feeling well.

What should you keep in mind when using the equipment, and can adults use the GYM?

Follow the staff’s instructions. Only one person is allowed on the trampoline at a time. Parents of birthday party guests are eligible for a GYM discount of €6 per person; please confirm the discount at the front desk. There must be a sufficient number of supervisors with the children at all times during the visit.
