Registration and your course place

How to reserve a place

Register by purchasing the course from the online shop. Paying for the course reserves your place, and only those who have paid may attend classes. You can also choose an invoice or instalments when these payment methods are offered at checkout.

The order confirmation and receipt are emailed to you. The confirmation shows the course you have registered for. Participants receive more practical information approximately one week before the course starts.

Choosing a group and fully booked courses

Check the course page for age limits, starting level, session times and season dates. If the group is full, ask about a waiting list place at info@reenis.fi or submit a course request on the children’s courses page. Registered participants receive information about the following season’s courses.

If a friend would like to try the course, ask in advance. A taster visit is possible only if there is space in the group, and all trials are arranged separately.

Joining during the season

You can join a course during the season if there is space in the group. You pay only for the remaining sessions. The price is calculated from the total course price in proportion to the sessions remaining. Agree your start and price with Reenis before purchasing.

Information relevant to participation

In the additional registration information, tell the instructor anything needed for participation, such as relevant medical conditions, medication or allergies. Provide only information necessary for instruction.

The course fee does not include insurance. Make sure you have adequate leisure-time accident insurance. Participation is voluntary.

Trial session and cancellations

The first session is a trial

The value of the first course session is 15 €. After it, you can decide whether to continue the course. If you do not continue, notify us of cancellation by email at info@reenis.fi within one week of the trial session.

For cancellations within the deadline, we refund the course fee less the 15 € trial session.

If you cancel later

If cancellation is received after the one-week deadline, we compensate the remaining sessions with day tickets from the time you notify us. We aim to issue day ticket compensation within one week of cancellation.

If your first trial session is postponed

If the trial session is postponed due to illness or injury, course sessions missed before the trial are chargeable. They can, however, be compensated with day tickets. Contact Reenis in this situation.

In your cancellation message: include the participant’s name, course name and when participation ends. Send your message to info@reenis.fi.

Absences and compensation

Report absences by email to info@reenis.fi. Include the participant’s name, course and date of absence.

Illness or injury

With a medical certificate, you receive one day ticket for each course session missed due to illness or injury. Compensation covers every documented absence, starting with the first.

You can send the medical certificate to venla@reenis.fi. Cover your personal identity code on the certificate before sending it.

If Reenis cancels a course or class

Each course has a minimum number of participants. If it is not reached, we notify you of cancellation by email no later than two days before the start and refund the course fee.

If an individual class must be cancelled, for example because the instructor is ill, we aim to arrange a replacement session by extending the season or compensate the session with a day ticket.

Supervision during open sessions: those turning 10 this calendar year and older may exercise without a supervisor at times permitted by the age limits. On weekdays, sessions from 20:00 are for ages 15 and over. Younger children need an adult supervisor even when using a monthly pass. Check sessions and opening hours.

Reenis reserves the right to change course benefits.

Arrive and check in

When entering the main hall, check in at reception under your own name and state your course group. Children wait for the class in the warm-up area at the tumbling end, where the instructor collects the group.

Parking: Alvar Aallon katu 1, 90520 Oulu. The Reenis entrance is opposite Oulun Kiipeilykeskus, next to Sale Toppila. Parking is free in the Alvar Aallon katu parking area. Do not park in Sale’s or the climbing centre’s spaces. View contact details and directions.

Bring with you

  • Suitable exercise clothes, socks and a named water bottle. Drink water to quench your thirst.
  • For parkour, bring indoor sports shoes or trainers with clean soles. We recommend flat, flexible soles. Do not jump on trampolines or air tracks in shoes.
  • For trampoline groups, we recommend trampoline socks and close-fitting clothing. For activity gymnastics, bring socks or trampoline socks.
  • Tie back long hair and remove jewellery, watches and sharp objects for training.
  • Your own padlock if you want to lock your belongings in a locker.

Good to know for guardians

You can wait in the café. Give your child space to take part in the group; if your presence helps them, agree a suitable way to watch the class with the instructor.

If your child comes to exercise before the course, arrange snacks and adult supervision as needed. We do not recommend more than one hour of independent practice before an instructed class.

Training is better together

Course ground rules

  • Encourage others and give everyone space to practise.
  • Follow the Reenis rules and the instructor’s guidance.
  • Practise within your abilities. Before a movement, make sure you know what you are doing.
  • Ask the instructor or staff for help whenever needed.
  • Bullying is prohibited. If bullying continues, Reenis may refuse access to the course without refunding the course fee.

Taking part in a group

Participants must be able to take part in a group and consider others. School-age children must be able to do a forward roll or be ready to practise it. Course-specific starting requirements are listed on the course page.

Photography and filming on courses

Photos and videos may be taken on courses for Reenis marketing and social media. If you do not want yourself or your child to appear in them, state this in the additional order information or contact Reenis before the course.

We can help with course matters

Ask about a suitable group, report an absence or cancel participation by email. Include the participant’s name and course so that we can find the correct details.
